Project
Beat'Em Up Video Game 2.5D
I am working on a personal video game project—a classic beat 'em up—designed and developed entirely during my free time. This game combines my love for coding and digital art, and serves as a creative outlet to bring my ideas to life.
The game is built in a 2.5D style: while space and certain parts of the environment are rendered in 3D to create depth, characters and objects are drawn in 2D, preserving a retro aesthetic.
- Programming: Written in C# using Unity.
- Graphics: Created with Procreate, Photoshop, and Aseprite.
- Tools: Leveraging Unity for gameplay mechanics and animation workflows.
This project is a labor of love, built with care, code, and a whole lot of pixels. It’s an ongoing process that challenges and hones my skills in both development and design.
About
I am a developer living in France. I’m currently working for Avec.fr, a healthcare operator. As part of the Quality team, I develop and supply applications dedicated to quality management, designed to support the group’s employees in healthcare establishments. I’m fully aware of the significant impact our work has on key issues. My priority is to provide reliable, robust and user-friendly tools that inspire confidence in our users and help them to excel in their mission.
Outside of work, I have a wide range of interests that keep me active and engaged.
In addition to programming, I practice martial arts, which has taught me discipline, focus, and perseverance—values that I bring into my professional life. Drawing is another hobby of mine, as I find it a great way to express my creativity and relax after a long day. I also have a deep love for video games, not just for entertainment, but as a way to challenge myself and understand complex game mechanics and narratives.
One of my passions is traveling. I have been fortunate to visit several countries, including Vietnam, China, Thailand, Egypt, Morocco, Spain, Switzerland, Belgium, UK, Italy and USA. Traveling allows me to experience new cultures, meet people from different backgrounds, and gain fresh perspectives that influence both my personal and professional growth.
